State support for displaced homemaker funding is more important than ever as a means to advocate resources for programs to address the unique needs and to provide services for displaced homemakers. Women Work! understands the necessity and the value this support means at the state level and we continue to monitor information about legislation across the states.
Women Work! retains copies of each state's displaced homemaker legislation in the national office. This valuable resource is available to our members upon request, as a benefit of membership. For a copy of your state's legislation, contact Women Work! at (202) 467-6346 or through our inquiry form.
With the growth in availability of information in electronic format, many states have their displaced homemakers legislation available through their state's web site. Listed below, we have provided you with the online links to the displaced homemaker legislation available on the web. States are listed in alphabetical order. Some states have more than one link to access the legislation.
