Development Doctor Difficult Times? Work Through It Together
If you have fallen upon hard times, whether it be in increasing your membership or working with a difficult budget, there is no reason to go through it alone. One way of keeping your organization stable is to merge with another similarly-focused organization. While it may be somewhat complicated legally, a partnership with an organization that has the same focus could be a great basis of support, both to your finances and vision in the long run.
For example, if your organization focuses on women with nontraditional careers, such as careers in construction, you could contact associations, unions, or other organizations that focus on the field of construction. Sharing a space, membership, and the burden with another group may help keep you afloat during the time of this troubling economy.
Please direct all questions to the

web sites or resources that you use to raise funds, let the Doctor know.
Good prescriptions for financial health should be shared!
