Women Work! respects the privacy of its members and other visitors to its web site. To protect online privacy, Women Work! has implemented the following statement, which discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for this site.

WHAT INFORMATION DOES WOMEN WORK! COLLECT
Women Work! collects data in order to better serve its members and women seeking resources and training.

From General Users
Users to the public areas of Women Work!'s web site browse anonymously. Only aggregate data--such as the number of hits per page--are collected. Aggregate data are only used for internal and site development purposes and do not provide any personally identifying information.

From Women Work! Members, Conference Registrants, and Other Customers
To gain access to members-only resources, members and other users may be asked to register and provide some limited information. Women Work! may ask users to provide their name, member number (for members), organization name, phone, fax and/or e-mail. Similar information may be submitted to Women Work! through membership applications, conference or seminar registration and product orders.

Site Profile/Order Forms
Women Work! maintains member and nonmember information in a profile and allows members to gain access to "members-only" content on the site. Women Work! uses order forms for requests for information on Women Work! products, meetings, services and benefits. We collect contact information and demographic information (e.g. mailing address, e-mail address, etc.), which allows us to provide information relevant to the organization and women's training, employment and economic equity issues.

Contact information is used for sending membership information; resources, publications and information that are a benefit of membership (e.g. newsletters, funding opportunities, etc.); and other information about Women Work!'s products and services and issues. Mailing information is only provided to approved Women Work! partners to inform members of discount, funding or partnership opportunities. Phone, fax and e-mail information is used only by Women Work!. The contact information is also used to contact the user when necessary for site administration. Your information will not be sold to any other companies or organizations.

Online Directory
Women Work! makes program contact information available through the online National Directory of Education & Training Organizations. Members and organizations listed in the directory can log-in and update their information as needed via this site. If an organization does not want to be listed in the online directory, they can opt-out of this benefit by contacting Women Work! at info@womenwork.org or (202) 467-6346.

Electronic Newsletters and Notices
As a benefit of membership in the Women Work! Network, we send periodic newsletters, resource and funding notices and announcements relating to the organization and/or women's training, employment and equity issues. During the membership join/renewal process, you are provided with the opportunity to specify the email address to be used for receiving these communications. If you would like to stop receiving these benefits by email, you can contact Women Work! at info@womenwork.org or (202) 467-6346.

CORRECTING/UPDATING INFORMATION
To ensure you receive the information you need to manage your account as well as important benefits and news, please be sure to keep your contact information up-to-date. This site contains links to other web sites. Women Work! has no control over and is not responsible for the privacy policies or content of such sites.

SECURITY
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Computers and software are kept in secure areas and are protected by passwords. Please note that no security system is 100% secure. We will not knowingly disclose confidential information supplied to you, except to the extent necessary and incidental to the purposes for which the information was supplied (for example to "Find a Member"), without the supplier's permission.

Credit Card Account Information: Women Work! does not disclose credit card account information provided by its members and customers. When members and customers choose to pay online using their credit cards, Women Work! submits the information needed to obtain payment to the appropriate processing company through secure servers in real time. Credit card numbers are not stored on Women Work!'s web site. Additionally, transaction information entered into Women Work!'s database only includes the authorization and sales information, not actual card numbers.
